Starting my Countdown, 229 days!

Found this on the Internet, seems like something uplifting I could use right now…

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down probably will.You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it’s harder every time. Its been a week since my week with Edith Quinonez (Keen-yo-nez) but i think that it is still blogable.. if that is a word.

My week started on Friday July 2nd, I drove up to Edmond to see my roommate :) We went to our favorite place to eat..

Mmm so good :) we then went to our room to find out it was FREEZING COLD. So Eatit turned on the heater, which we then found out wasn’t working right. The fire alarms started going off, and I grabbed my bag (which had my computer in it) and was leaving the room telling Eatit to COME ONNNN… she just kinda stood there. The alarms stopped and all she did was make fun of how I got my stuff and was ready to go.

 Okay.. first off who didn’t grow up knowing that when alarms go off, you get out of the place?! and 2nd there were those little sprinkler things in our room and I didn’t want my computer wet!

The next day (the 3rd) we woke up early ready to go to Edmond’s Independence Day Parade.  The whole reason why we were in Edmond.

When it was done we headed to Tulsa in a Monsoon, I could barely see five feet in front of the car!

We got to Tulsa then we had to decorate cheesecake cupcakes and then the Mahans showed up.  We went to Castle of Muskogee and loaded up on fireworks.

That night we went to the cul-de-sac 4th of July party, we got baloons :)

The next was the 4th!

We went to church, a b-day party then we laid out all day till the night time which was fiyaworks!

The rest of our week we did tons of stuff…

Monday: I don’t remember anything but Mexico Lindo lol did we layout?

Tuesday: I had class all day, and it was pouring.. It rained most of this week.  We went to Bro hoo’s for dinner.

Wednsday: Didn’t we swim and then go to Cheddars with Nod, Alex and Martin? 

Thursday: I practiced my speech then we had grandmas party that night.  Then a funeral, and game night with Alex and Martin.

Friday: We had Panera for lunch.  We saved a dog! then Mexico Lindo. We got new Kathy bags! And then we went to Barnes and Noble and then to the mall, and then to Josh’s.

Saturday: McAlister’s Car shopping with Lupe, swimming, Charlestons! (Last night for Eatit :( ) Then to watch the Classics. Then we ate Nod’s AMAZING cheesecake!

Sunday we ate at Panera, starbucks, church, then Pei Wei.. (I have never ate out so much in my life, it was such a busy week!)

Then, Eatit left the Farve family.. :(

There were so many laughs and jokes that week, so many that noone else would understand.. I love you Edith, I’m glad I’ll see you in like a week! :)

So, I’ve decided, that my blog will be more like a photo blog.  I seem to take my iPhone with me everywhere and as most of my friends would know, I take pictures of everything.  So every week, I will put the more interesting ones up here and the explanation along with them.

Who else thinks 4 dogs is a little much?  There is never any room on any of our couches, with our 3 dachshunds and our 1 Lhasa Apso.

Ella is my best friend.  She wakes me up early in the morning telling me its time to go run, she runs a couple miles with me, then takes a nap on me in the afternoon.  This was definitely one of the more interesting positions she’s ever slept in.  As I write this blog she is sitting right next to me, she follows me everywhere. :)

I have a couple more pictures I’ll post when I get a more time, but as for now this’ll do.

So, Whoo for blogs.  I’m not a writer, but hey, I have a family at home that want to know what I’m doing when I’m away at Edmond, so I guess this is where it leads.

The past few days have been slow, not much to do this summer.  I’m taking classes at TCC, and trying to find a job.  My boyfriend has a full-time job so, I don’t see him much, and my best friends are 7 and 20 hours away from me.  We’ll see what this summer holds.

Went to my first Driller’s game for the summer tonight.  It was great.  Stood in line for more than 45 minutes and missed 4 innings of the game.  Most of the wait I was the third person in line.  The reason for the wait?  They were out of Driller dogs. Out of Driller dogs? At a Drillers game? hm, how ironic.  Went to sit down and noticed we happened to get the seats next to the big group of men who decided to take advantage of Thirsty Thursday.  Bunch of old men who thought it was so funny that a Driller player’s last name was “Beerers”… yes mister 40-year-old-man, his last name does have the word beer in it, thanks for pointing it out the 3 times he got up to bat.

But hey, pretty skyline tonight :)
